Have you tried ebates.com yet?

I wanted to tell you about Ebates, a shopping site that gives you up to 26% Cash Back every time you shop online. You can shop at over 1000 stores including eBay, JCPenney, Macy's, Nordstrom, Overstock.com, Walmart, Kohl's and Home Depot. Plus you get additional savings with exclusive coupons, free shipping offers, and limited-time sales!
Sign up with Ebates today and we'll each get a $5 bonus when you make your first purchase!

Ok, ok...  so that's the canned email I'm supposed to send to invitees.  But, all site-pushing aside, this is a really cool way to save a little money on the things you already buy.  Most of the larger online retailers will allow you to shop through ebates and receive a check for cash back your purchase.  Usually it's from about 2%-6%, which doesn't seem like much.  It really ads up over time though, and who can't use a little extra "free" money!

Product Testing with Smile.ly

I found out about another product testing website today.  I think this is pretty similar to bzzagent in that it asks you to try products and give feedback.  I haven't received anything since I just signed up, but their site says:
"Do you love to try new things? Haven't you ever tried a new product and thought, "This would be so much better if…" Well, as a Smile.ly member, you can provide that kind of feedback directly to the source. Your opinion matters. And as a fringe benefit, you'll earn status in the Smile.ly community, which has its own perks, rewards, and opportunities. It's a win-win situation, really."
  • "Smile.ly is the world's first social media powered community designed to bring you new things to try and share.
  • Be the first to sample new products and experiences.
  • Connect and earn status in a community with a voice that matters.
  • Power your social media networks with more to talk about."

From Applebee's

Last year Applebee’s served over a million free meals to American service personnel on Veteran’s Day. And this year they’re ready to do it again, offering up a free entrĂ©e to all veterans and active duty military who come in on Thursday, November 11. They’ll dine from a special “Vet’s Day Menu,” including bacon cheeseburgers, Fiesta Lime Chicken and Double Crunch Shrimp. We love this deal, as well as they’re slogan—that they’re “proud to serve those who serve us.”
You will, of course, need to provide verification of service, through one of the following methods: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), Photograph in uniform, Wearing uniform, Veterans Organization Card or DD214.
The deal’s only available at participating Applebee’s, so as always we recommend calling to be sure that your location is participating. And the freebie is available for dine-in customers only ordering from the special menu. Beverages and gratuity are not included.

Check out Loreal's product testing site.  Once you sign up they will send you occasional emails with surveys to see if you qualify to test products.  Fill out 5 "informational surveys" they send you a free "Luxury"product for your effort.  I have received Lancome and Kiehls full sized products as a thank you for participating.  Love it!  By the way... this isn't just for the ladies.  A friend of mine's husband has joined and he receives far more surveys and free products than she does.  So check it out guys!
